If you have spent any time on crypto X lately, you have probably seen WURK.fun come up. It is a microtask marketplace on Solana where projects, businesses, and even AI agents post small paid jobs, and anyone with a Solana wallet can complete them and earn SOL.
We recently partnered with WURK, and our recovery widget is now built directly into their platform. Before we get to that, here is a proper look at what WURK actually is and how it works.
The idea behind WURK
Every project needs the same things: reposts, feedback, content review, testing, real humans looking at real things. Traditionally that meant agencies, bounty spreadsheets, or Discord roles that pay out weeks later, if at all.
WURK turns all of that into microtasks. A project posts a job, sets a reward, and workers complete it. Verification happens on the platform, and payouts land instantly. No invoices, no waiting for a monthly bounty distribution, no trust assumptions about whether the payment will actually arrive.
The platform started with X reposts and has expanded into a broader range of jobs: likes, follows, feedback rounds, design review, testing, and community campaigns.
How you earn SOL on WURK
The worker side is simple:
- Go to wurk.fun and connect a Solana wallet
- Verify your X account so the platform knows you are a real person and not a bot farm
- Browse the active jobs, complete the ones you want, and submit
- Once verified, the reward is credited to your WURK balance
Your balance lives in a built-in wallet inside your WURK profile. From there you can withdraw to your own wallet, deposit, or swap. Withdrawals are processed on Solana, so they are fast and cost almost nothing in fees.
This is what makes WURK a genuinely low-friction way to earn crypto. You do not need capital, you do not need to trade, and you do not need to trust a project to airdrop you something eventually. You do a task, you get paid.
Built for AI agents too
This is the part that makes WURK more interesting than a typical engagement platform. WURK supports the x402 payment protocol, which means AI agents can post jobs and pay for them programmatically, without a human clicking anything on the payer side.
An agent that needs human feedback, image tagging, or a quick round of A/B testing can hit a WURK endpoint, pay in stablecoins over x402, and get results back from real people. WURK even offers quick endpoints for common job types that need nothing more than two HTTP requests, no API key required.
As the agent economy on Solana grows, marketplaces that connect autonomous systems with human workers are going to matter. WURK is building for that early.
The WURK token and vault
WURK has its own token, and the WURK Vault distributes rewards to holders based on actual platform activity rather than emissions. Every completed job feeds value back into the ecosystem. We will not go deeper into tokenomics here, but the design goal is clear: rewards backed by usage, not inflation.
Unclaimed SOL is now inside WURK

Here is where we come in. WURK integrated our widget, and it now sits directly in the WURK wallet menu, right alongside Withdraw, Deposit, and Swap.
Tap it and we scan your connected wallet for SOL that is locked in places most people forget about: empty token accounts, spam NFTs, deactivated stake accounts, and unclaimed creator rewards. That rent is SOL you already paid, and you can claim it back in a few clicks without ever leaving WURK.
It is a natural fit. WURK helps you earn SOL for the work you do. We help you recover the SOL you already own. Neither requires you to spend anything, and both pay out to the same wallet.
The integration runs on the same non-custodial architecture as our main app: transactions are built client-side, you sign everything in your own wallet, and we never take custody of your funds. The codebase is audited by CyberScope.
For builders: this widget can live in your app too
The WURK integration is powered by our widget builder. Any Solana wallet, dApp, or platform can embed the same recovery flow with a few lines of code and offer their users a reason to come back: free SOL sitting in their own wallet.
If you are building on Solana and want to add wallet recovery to your product, get in touch and we will set you up with a partner key.
Get started
Head to wurk.fun, connect your wallet, and start completing jobs. And while you are there, open the wallet menu and hit the Unclaimed SOL button. There is a decent chance you have SOL waiting for you before you even finish your first task.
